Trip:

Winthrop to Twisp (Twisp Park)

Note - The take out and put ins have no real launch, and the take out in particular is not easy to navigate.

Fish Caught:

~19 inch Wild Bull trout

~20 inch Chinnook

~22 inch Westslope Cutthroat

~Several more Westslope Cutthroat between 10 and 18 inches.

Gear Used:

We threw many different flies, from bright steelhead streamers to small nymphs to Purple Hazes. None of the fish were caught on the fly. All fish were caught on the same size 5 green Blue Fox Spinner on the spin rod. Most success came in deep holes after letting the spinner sink before retrieving.
